What is on at the show all weekend?

Aussie FMX

Aussie FMX Aussie FMX is a one of the top professional Freestyle Motocross teams in the country.
Our team is by no means new to the Freestyle Motocross Entertainment industry. Aussie FMX director Brodie Carmichael has been in the industry for over 12 years now.
He also is a 3 time World Record Holder and competes in the Nitro World Games FMX World Championships.This track record continues onto the Aussie FMX team with all riders being world class athletes.
Aussie FMX take the time to meet and greet the fans before and after the show and it is this extra commitment to provide great family entertainment that sets them apart from the others.

Walter Whip

Walter Whip are a performance team that travel from show to show performing western arts and professional fire stunts. Some of their featured acts are the burning ring of fire and cracking 2 whips on fire. They also perform stunts where they will cut roses from the girl’s hands and mouths with a whip that is on fire along with professional “direct to skin” fire stunts.

Thunder and Hooves

Thunder and Hooves are medieval performance that takes you back to the battlefields with galloping war horses, fiery arrows, fiery swords, and actors dressed as some of your heroes from popular TV series, an action packed show with some first ever seen in Australia daring stunts.

Joy Flights by Capertee Valley Helicopters

The Capertee Valley Helicopters will be offering helicopter joy flights for just $50 per person! This is great for all member of the family and offers a different perspective on the Lithgow area

Side Show Alley with lots of great rides!
Commercial markets with traders inside the main pavilion and outside spread throughout the grounds.

The Farmers Challenge

This year will see the Farmers Challenge return to the Lithgow Show. It will involve a competition between Lithgow High School, Portland Central School and LaSalle Academy competing in a range of agricultural challenges. The Farmers Challenge is designed to promote excellence in farming and showcase the involvement of youth in agriculture through a display of the skills, equipment and techniques farmers use everyday. Emphasis is placed on completing each challenge with in the fastest time, but more importantly, with the correct technique and safe work method.

The NSW Rural Fire Service Challenge

This year will also see the return of the RFS challenge. With the recent major bushfires in our area we have asked the RFS to come along and show us all how its done by competing in a number of set activities that will be scored on time, with penalties for safety breaches and missed challenges. It will be a great way to show your support for our local firefighters by cheering on your local area brigade and also a lot of fun!

What is on Saturday of the show weekend?

Lithgow Show Society's Machines Day

We are looking at displaying Classic Cars and Trucks, Veteran and Vintage Cars and Trucks, Veteran and Vintage Bikes, Sta-tionary Engines. Working Farm Machinery, Live Steam, New Cars and Trucks, Tractors Restored or part restored and any-thing that has wheels or an engine of interest.

Local Entertainment

Our community is full of amazingly talented people, on the Saturday of the show we love to showcase this and this year will be no exception. Various local groups will be at the show to perform for you and provide a day of great entertainment.
